David Klass
David Klass is an American screenwriter and novelist. He has published over 14 well-known young adult novels and over 40 screenplays for Hollywood Studios. He was raised and born in Vermont as he grew to recieve a bachelor in history from Yale. Some of his very well known novels include: Breakaway Run (1987), Danger Zone (1996) and Dark Angel (2005). Most of David Klass' novels include some sort of life lesson based with the difficulties and associations of highschool sports. His stories mainly deal with racism, discrimination, death and difficult decision making. ''I'm not writing about sports so much as I am about character," Klass told Authors and Artists for Young Adults (AAYA) in an interview. Most of David's books appeal to the teen audience as a way of describing how to deal with people and problems in a simple way. He uses his own experience of past life issues to explain how quickly life can pass you by.
